A StorSimple virtual array is best suited for infrequently accessed data. Although virtual arrays have local caches to improve performance, users should assume that the device is serving the lowest level of file storage (the cloud). Each virtual array can read and write approximately 100 Mbps to Azure storage. This link is shared by all requests on the device and can be blocked as shown in the figure below.
